Employment Agreements & Policies
Rivkin Radler’s employment and labor attorneys regularly draft, interpret, enforce, and defend employment-related agreements (e.g., employment contracts, separation agreements, arbitration agreements, confidentiality agreements, and agreements to protect rights to inventions, trade secrets and intellectual property). We provide individualized training and seminars for supervisory staff and employees on topics including workplace diversity, workplace violence, harassment, sexual harassment, the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Family Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”), best practices and union issues.
We counsel employers on day-to-day human resource operations and workplace issues. These issues include: discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints; reasonable accommodation requests; and the Family Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act.
We also advise our clients concerning day-to-day compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including regulations governing employment practices. Our employment and labor attorneys have created practical employment policies and procedures for our clients.
