Banking Litigation

We represent banks, credit unions, loan servicers, financial institutions, private lenders and other creditors in breach of contract, commercial note enforcement proceedings, commercial foreclosure, debtor and creditor issues, title disputes and other tort and business claims regularly brought by or against banks.

We handle matters ranging from disputes between financial institutions arising out of participation agreements to claims brought by borrowers for breach of contract; violations of the UCC and other statutes; and claims involving lenders’ collateral. We also represent lenders in actions and proceedings brought by borrowers and third parties affecting the lender’s interest in real and personal property, including actions involving mortgaged property and civil forfeiture proceedings brought by municipalities against customers seeking forfeiture of collateral.
