Kornblum and Panagopoulos Complete Several NYC Real Estate Deals

On October 2, 2017, Yaron Kornblum represented the Borrowers and co-owners, Brook-Sharp Realty LLC and MK Brook LLC, in a refinance of a portfolio of real estate holdings consisting of twelve buildings located in the Bronx, with residential and commercial units.  The loan amount was $24 million and the transaction was financed through New York Community Bank.

On October 23, 2017, John Panagopoulos represented the Purchaser in the acquisition of an Upper East Side townhouse for a purchase price of $15 million  This transaction was the first of the client’s assemblage of a series of townhouses for the purpose of developing a condominium complex on the site.

On November 15, 2017, Yaron Kornblum and John Panagopoulos closed the properties located at 692 Dekalb Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 342 East 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY and 237 West 137th Street, New York, NY for a purchase price in the amounts of $2.25 million $1.35 million and $2.85 million respectively.  This was an all-cash transaction involving international investors and as an amicable and final settlement of disputes amongst the co-owners.
