Steve Henesy obtained a rare summary judgment victory on a common law fraud claim against a Miami, FL., healthcare clinic, its owners, operators and employees.

In a case entitled Government Employees Insurance Co., et al. v. Quality Diagnostic Health Care, Inc., et al., Judge Jose E. Martinez of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Miami found that GEICO had demonstrated that there was no genuine issue of material fact that the defendants had defrauded GEICO out of more than $145,000 through the submission of fraudulent no-fault insurance bills for services supposedly provided to Florida automobile accident victims.
