June 7, 2017 |In a case alleging fraud and unlawful financial kickbacks, Justin Calabrese and Sean Gorton successfully opposed a medical provider’s attempt to keep private the provider’s subpoenaed financial records.
The Court rejected the medical provider’s position that the information was irrelevant and unduly burdensome, and permitted the insurer to review the records which ultimately supported the insurer’s initial allegations and suspicions.
