Zan Sheikh

Zan Sheikh is an Associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group. He focuses his practice on insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud matters.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Zan was an associate attorney at a firm in Garden City, NY, where he represented national insurance carriers and rental car agencies in court and arbitration. He spent significant time investigating individual claims and billing entities and providers. He gained significant experience in litigation and analyzing and resolving claims.

Zan received his Juris Doctor with a concentration in Health Law from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While in law school, Zan was part of the Hofstra/Northwell Medical Legal Partnership Clinic. Additionally, he interned with the Nassau County Supreme Court Matrimonial Center under the Hon. Jeffrey A. Goodstein.

Prior to law school, Zan graduated cum laude from Hofstra University with a B.A. in Business Administration in Legal Studies in Business.

Currently a NYS Certified Paramedic (EMT-P), Zan began volunteering at his local fire department as an EMT while in college and later advanced to Paramedic. His EMS experience includes working NYC 911 and inter-facility transport for the largest private health system in the state and he also has a background and experience in independent retail pharmacy management and operations.
