Mary is an Associate in the Firm’s Health Services Practice Group. She has represented a wide variety of healthcare providers and trade associations, including adult homes, home care agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and developmental disability providers in litigation, regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement matters.

Her litigation experience extends to administrative proceedings and hearings before the New York State Department of Health, New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Mary has also litigated Article 78 proceedings in New York State Supreme Court and actions brought under the federal False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and related state statutes.

Mary has presented on assisted living compliance issues and written several articles and legal alerts on topics impacting the healthcare industry, including Medicaid reimbursement issues.

Named to City & State New York’s Albany 40 Under 40 in 2023, Mary has also been recognized in Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The Rising Stars list is comprised of the top 2.5 percent of lawyers under the age of 40. She has also been named in Ones to Watch by Best Lawyers in America® from 2022-2024.
