Mary is an Associate in the Firm’s Health Services Practice Group. She has significant experience representing providers in challenging audit findings by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare administrative contractors, and the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG). As part of these matters, Mary is highly familiar with the Medicare and Medicaid appeals processes, including administrative hearings and disputing statistical sampling and extrapolation methodologies used to calculate overpayments. She also advises clients on day-to-day regulatory and compliance matters, including billing and reimbursement issues and self-disclosures.

Mary regularly presents on issues related to Medicare and Medicaid audits and has written several blog posts on various topics impacting the healthcare industry.

Named to City & State New York’s Albany 40 Under 40 in 2023, Mary has also been recognized in Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024.
