Rivkin Radler Recognized for Social Responsibility Efforts

June 6, 2017

Rivkin Radler LLP received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award from Long Island Business News in its Corporate Citizenship Awards Program. The law firm was the only awardee in the category. The honor recognizes a for-profit company or organization for its collective efforts to promote, encourage and organize company-sponsored programs and/or events driven to engage employees to participate in volunteerism.

“I was very proud to accept this award on behalf of the firm,” said Managing Partner Evan H. Krinick. “In reality, I was representing each and every one of our employees, who, year after year, in so many different ways, demonstrate the spirit of giving, philanthropy and charity.”

Rivkin Radler is deeply committed to the many communities it serves. The firm has a dedicated team of attorneys who serve on Nassau/Suffolk Law Services’ Landlord-Tenant Dispute Panel. For more than a decade, Rivkin Radler’s Mentoring Team has met weekly with local elementary schoolchildren for whom English is a second language. Multiple times per year, the firm hosts activities to encourage charitable giving. Last December, Rivkin Radler held a toy drive to benefit the John Thiessen Foundation, which distributes toys to Long Island hospitals. Firm members also bought and donated gift cards and wrapped toys for 70 children through the Child Center of New York. These are only a few of the many ways Rivkin Radler encourages its employees to engage in charitable activities.
