Ullman Quoted on Future of CBD Regs upon Gottlieb’s Departure

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, who announced his plan to resign as FDA commissioner on March 5, 2019, had in the previous week just announced plans to develop a regulatory framework for CBD.

Marc Ullman spoke with Nutraingredients-USA about what might happen with the CBD initiative for the article entitled “Advocates hopeful that Gottlieb’s departure won’t derail drive toward new CBD rules.” Marc said, “We don’t know how much of the initiative in working on CBD was institutional in nature and how much was the result of the personal initiative of the now former commissioner.”
