Rutkin Recognized for Work with FDCC’s Communications Committee
August 13, 2024The Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC) gave Alan Rutkin its coveted Joseph R. Olshan Award at its annual meeting, which took place in Toronto on July 28-August 3, 2024.
Alan, a member of the FDCC’s Board of Directors, received the award in recognition of his efforts as a member of the FDCC’s Communications Committee, where he developed a series of informational podcasts. Downloaded about 10,000 times, the podcasts cover a range of issues.
In 2006, the FDCC established the Joseph R. Olshan Award, to be presented annually by the chair of a Board Committee, Administrative Branch Committee or Project, Initiative, or Ad Hoc Committee whose work has made the most outstanding contribution to the advancement of the FDCC’s aspirational goals.
The FDCC, composed of recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction, is dedicated to promoting knowledge, fellowship, and professionalism of its members as they pursue the course of a balanced justice system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits.
