Rivkin Radler’s New Jersey IP Group Earns Top New Jersey Law Journal Honor
November 2, 2026 |Rivkin Radler’s New Jersey Intellectual Property practice group has won the New Jersey Law Journal’s 2026 Litigation Department of the Year, Intellectual Property award. The New Jersey Legal Awards program recognizes trailblazers, innovators, and dedicated professionals whose contributions have left a lasting mark on New Jersey’s legal community. The group accepted the honor at a reception on October 29 at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ.
The recognition reflects an exceptional year for the group and its continued success handling sophisticated intellectual property disputes for clients across industries. The department’s highlighted 2025 successes include securing dismissal with prejudice of a two-count copyright complaint against media clients in the Southern District of New York and defeating the plaintiff’s motion for reconsideration. The team also secured favorable settlements in patent infringement litigation involving pharmaceutical and cosmetics/beauty supply clients in the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Texas. These outcomes followed an $8.2 million jury verdict obtained the prior year in a defamation and Lanham Act false-advertising matter in the District of New Jersey.
“This award is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the talent, dedication, and collaboration of our intellectual property team,” said Gregory Miller, co-chair of Rivkin Radler’s IP group. “We are proud of the results we have achieved for our clients and grateful to be recognized among New Jersey’s leading litigation practices.”
Rivkin Radler’s New Jersey Intellectual Property team represents clients in a wide range of complex disputes involving copyrights, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on developing strategies tailored to each client’s business goals.
“Our clients entrust us with disputes that can have a lasting impact on their businesses,” said Nancy Del Pizzo, who co-chairs Rivkin Radler’s IP group with Gregory Miller and was named a finalist for New Jersey IP Lawyer of the Year. “We are honored by this recognition and grateful for the opportunity to help our clients protect their intellectual property and advance their business goals.”
