After earning an undergraduate degree in business, Catherine worked in the marketing department of a fashion brand for several years, gaining insight into the importance of protecting intellectual property from a brand’s perspective. She carries that experience with her when protecting her clients’ intellectual property.
Catherine Salerno is an associate in the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Practice Groups. Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Catherine worked at a law firm where she represented private and public clients in a variety of commercial litigations, contract disputes and tort matters.
While in law school, Catherine interned for the Honorable Brian Martinotti in the District Court of New Jersey. During this time, Catherine also worked as a research assistant to a professor at Seton Hall School of Law to help her publish a book about technology addiction. Catherine served as the co-president of the Intellectual Property Law Association and received the Law and Technology Award. Prior to attending law school, Catherine worked in marketing at a fashion brand.
