Rivkin Radler Welcomes Three New Attorneys
July 18, 2018 | |Rivkin Radler LLP has welcomed new associates, Margarita Christoforou, Cassandra Rivais and Jonah Zweig.
Margarita Christoforou, of St. James, has joined the firm’s Health Services Practice Group.
Margarita represents various healthcare entities, including hospital systems, medical groups and physician practices, long-term care providers, ambulatory surgery centers, Management Services Organizations (MSOs), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Independent Practice Associations (IPAs), Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and health insurance companies, as well as other organizations affiliated with the health care industry.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Margarita was an Associate Counsel at Crystal Run Healthcare LLP, Middletown, NY.
Cassandra Rivais, of Albany, NY, has joined the firm’s Health Services Practice Group.
Cassandra represents various healthcare providers on regulatory and transactional matters. Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Cassandra completed a two-year clinical ethics fellowship at Alden March Bioethics Institute of Albany Medical Center. She performed clinical ethics consultations to resolve various types of disputes in the clinical setting and provided ethics education for medical students. Cassandra has provided various forms of educational services, ranging from in-house staff training, guest lectures at Albany Law School, and undergraduate nursing students courses.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Cassandra was Of Counsel to Sholes & Miller, LLP, Fishkill, NY.
Jonah Zweig, of Jamaica, NY, has joined the firm’s General Liability Practice Group. Jonah represents a wide variety of clients in personal injury cases, including construction/labor law matters, premises liability suits, general negligence actions, and motor vehicle claims. He successfully practiced in both the trial court and appellate levels and has extensive experience in motion practice, the conducting of depositions and discovery conferences, and appellate practice.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Jonah was an Associate at Saretsky, Katz & Dranoff, LLP, New York, NY.
