Rivkin Radler Welcomes 2 Attorneys

Qasim Haq, of Patchogue, NY, has joined the firm as an associate in the Insurance Fraud Practice Group, resident in the Uniondale office. Haq helps insurers prosecute civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to those involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes. Prior to joining the firm, Qasim clerked for the Honorable Lurana S. Snow in the Southern District of Florida and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida.
Joseph Pidel, of Poughkeepsie, NY, has joined the firm as an associate in the General Liability and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups, resident in the Poughkeepsie office. Pidel focuses his practice on a variety of matters, including defending clients accused of negligence and representing clients in high-stakes commercial disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Pidel was an associate at a law firm in Newburgh, NY and received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School.
