Rivkin Radler Expands to Include Dental Focus

UNIONDALE, NEW YORK – September 15, 2021 – We are pleased to announce that two veteran attorneys, each with deep experience representing dentists and, dental practices, have joined the firm’s Health Services Practice Group.

Joel M. Greenberg, of counsel in Rivkin Radler’s Health Services Practice Group, has decades of experience advising physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals. His practice includes helping them choose the best form of entity in which to practice; preparing their employment, partnership and shareholder agreements; and guiding them on malpractice insurance issues; the purchase, sale, and dissolution of their professional practices; and how to structure their business arrangements so as not to violate federal and state fraud, abuse, self-referral, and professional misconduct laws. He is an adjunct professor of health law at SUNY Old Westbury and has served as co-editor in chief of the past four editions of The Legal Manual for New York Physicians.

Eric J. Ploumis, of counsel in Rivkin Radler’s Health Services Practice Group who is also a dentist, practices both dentistry and law. He was an equity partner of the tri-state dental services organization, Dental365. He concentrates his legal practice on representing dentists on the business and transactional issues they face, including practice transitions, dental management agreements, partnership and employment agreements, office leases and the defense of allegations of professional misconduct. Ploumis is an associate clinical professor of orthodontics at New York University and clinical attending faculty at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.
