Murphy, Honig, Schieber, and Zerykier Obtain Trial Victory

After an almost two-week trial, the team of Casey Murphy, Jeremy Honig, Evan Schieber, and Aaron Zerykier secured an almost $19 million win for our client, the Board of a Condominium, against the condominium’s sponsor.

As reported  in the Law360 article, “Tribeca Mews Faces $18.9M Damages Award In Ch. 11,” the trial was held before U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Martin Glenn, just before his retirement.

The court found that the condominium suffered a raft of construction-related problems which were breaches of the offering plan. This was the second trial on these claims after the first trial, in 2017, ended in a mistrial.
