Lampert, Russo, and Lauria Receive Defense Verdict in New York County Jury Trial

On December 4, 2025, the trial team of Matt Lampert, Lauren Russo, and James Lauria received a defense verdict after a jury trial in New York County where Plaintiff’s counsel requested a multi-million damages verdict from the jury. Plaintiff alleged that she fell due to a crack on the sidewalk adjacent to the client’s property, which required two separate surgeries and extensive treatment for additional injuries.

Rivkin Radler’s defense team argued that the accident did not take place on the sidewalk, but instead while plaintiff was crossing the street.
