An associate in the Complex Torts & Product Liability, General Liability and Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Groups, Lauren E. Russo defends clients in a variety of matters, including premises liability, nursing home negligence, and medical and dental malpractice.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Lauren was an associate with a firm on Long Island where she worked on matters involving the defense of church and charitable institutions, health care and nursing home liability, and the defense of medical malpractice matters.

Lauren is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law where she served as Managing Editor of St. John’s Journal of International and Comparative Law and Managing Editor of the New York International Law Review. She has two published articles in the New York International Law Review, which she wrote while a student. In her final year at St. John’s University School of Law, she received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Advanced Torts, which is awarded to the student who achieves the highest grade in each section of a course. Lauren also served as a CLE panelist for the lecture, “Lights, Camera—Ethics” during St. John’s Alumni weekend.

Lauren attended New York University where she received her bachelors of science, graduating cum laude. She also received the Founder’s Day Award for academic excellence.
