June 17, 2022

On June 16, 2022, Rivkin Radler Managing Partner Evan H. Krinick was named to the Long Island Press Power List. The annual list and corresponding event, now in its 19th year, honors Long Island’s most influential leaders who have the most impact on the lives of those in the region.

Krinick, a Plainview, NY, resident, is a member of the firm’s Appeals, Commercial Litigation and Insurance Coverage practices. He also has been Rivkin Radler’s managing partner for the past nine years. During that time, he oversaw the growth of the firm from three offices and 140 attorneys to five offices and 200 attorneys. He founded the firm’s insurance fraud practice, which now includes more than 30 attorneys representing numerous carriers in multiple states.

Krinick was the youngest person elected to the partnership of Rivkin Radler and the youngest elected to its management committee. He has argued close to 20 cases in the New York Court of Appeals on a variety of civil matters, and two criminal cases assigned by the Court. He has authored numerous amicus curiae briefs accepted by the NY Court of Appeal on issues of importance.

A member of the Long Island Association’s Board of Directors and the Touro Law School Board of Governors, Krinick is also the former Chairman of the NY Mentoring Partnership’s Leadership Council.

A prolific writer, Krinick writes a regular column on insurance fraud for the New York Law Journal and he is the author of the annual insurance law summary for the New York Law Journal special section. He lectures frequently to the New York State Bar Association and in other venues on appellate practice, civil procedure, expert witnesses, insurance bad faith and insurance coverage.

Krinick has been named to Best Lawyers in America® for the Appellate Practice and Insurance Law from 2018 to 2022. Since 2015, he has been named to Super Lawyers’ New York Metro edition for Appellate Law.
