Kang Named to NJBIZ 2023 Forty Under 40

August 10, 2023

Gene Y. Kang today became a member of the 2023 class of NJBIZ Forty Under 40. Launched in 2006, this program recognizes 40 professionals under the age of 40 for their notable successes and demonstrations of strong leadership in New Jersey.

A partner in Rivkin Radler’s Commercial Litigation, Insurance Coverage, Insurance Fraud and Intellectual Property practices, Gene has extensive experience in civil litigation and corporate counseling, including trial and appellate work involving complex commercial matters, intellectual property, insurance law disputes, and labor and employment issues.

Gene is the immediate past President of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York. He also previously sat on the board of the Korean American Association of Greater New York, currently sits on the board of Korean American Civic Empowerment and is a Regional Governor for the International Association of Korean Lawyers.

Chosen by an independent panel of judges following an open nomination process, the individuals recognized on this year’s list contribute to their own industries – spanning health care, finance, real estate, law, education and more – as well as to the New Jersey community at large.

The honorees are not only judged on their business accomplishments but also on their volunteerism, education and additional honors. This task was especially challenging this year as NJBIZ received the largest number of nominations in the program’s history.

Gene and his fellow honorees will be recognized Sept. 21 at a ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Somerset, NJ.
