Ade’s Efforts Support Scholarships

March 8, 2019 | General Liability

In Brian Ade’s role as member of the CGL Reporter Editorial Board, he prepares summaries of five to 10 cases per year for publication. The summaries analyze insurance coverage decisions from around the country.

In 2018, the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), which publishes the CGL Reporter, contributed $37,138 — the amount of royalties from the publication that year —  to the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice (TIPS) Section, to fund scholarships for those who cannot otherwise afford to attend CLE classes.

The CGL Reporter identifies the most important commercial general liability-related coverage decisions handed down each year in key states. Prominent coverage litigation experts (members of the ABA’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section) summarize the most important recent cases, from the appellate level or higher, in their respective areas of expertise.
