3 Rivkin Radler Attorneys Receive LIBN Leaders in Law Awards

Rivkin Radler is proud to announce that three of its attorneys received Leaders in Law awards from Long Island Business News.

The Leaders in Law Awards recognize dedicated individuals whose leadership, both in the legal profession and in the community, has had a positive impact on Long Island. Recipients of these awards demonstrate outstanding achievements, involvement in their profession and support of the community.

The Rivkin Radler honorees and their respective categories are as follows:

Stella Lellos — Dealmakers Award

Jamie Milfort — Associate Award

Nicholas Moneta – Associate Award

Stella Lellos, of Garden City, NY, is a partner in the firm’s Corporate Group. Her practice focuses primarily on private company mergers and acquisitions, including strategic mergers, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, as well as corporate finance transactions and general corporate representation of U.S.-based and international companies. Stella has experience in a breadth of industries including, healthcare, consumer products, travel, construction, technology, manufacturing, distribution, retail and hospitality.

Jamie Milfort, of West Hempstead, NY, is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Fraud Group. She focuses her practice on insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud matters. Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Jamie was an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. Milfort is the Corresponding Secretary to the Executive Board of the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association.

Nicholas Moneta, of Rockville Centre, NY, is an Associate in the firm’s Personal, Family & Business Planning Group. He focuses his practice on trusts and estates law, with an emphasis on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and estate and trust administration. He also advises individual planning clients, beneficiaries of estates and trusts, and fiduciaries. Nicholas is the Chairperson of the Estate Planning Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Law Section. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Executive Board of the Estate Planning Council of Long Island.
