2 Rivkin Radler Attorneys Named to LIBN 40 Under 40 List

Rivkin Radler is proud to announce that Bernadette Kasnicki and Elizabeth Sy were named to the Long Island Business News (LIBN) 40 Under 40 list. They were recognized at an awards ceremony on December 10 at the Crest Hollow Country Club.

The 40 Under 40 awards recognize Long Island’s leaders who are younger than 40 years old based on their professional accomplishments, community service, and a commitment to inspiring change.

Bernadette Kasnicki is a partner in the firm’s Corporate, Tax, and Trusts & Estates Practice Groups. She advises business clients on a range of tax matters relating to corporations, LLCs, partnerships, public charities and private foundations. She currently serves as the general counsel for United Way of Long Island and is a member of United Way of Long Island’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She is also a member of the boards of directors of Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation and the Child Care Council of Nassau.

Elizabeth Sy is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Practice Groups. Her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, including matters involving business transactions, real estate, restrictive covenants, brokerage commissions, insurance coverage, trademarks, trade secrets, and environmental issues. She is a proud supporter and member of the Board of Directors of Hope For Youth, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to facilitating positive changes in the lives of children.
