Wallis Granat is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance Fraud and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Wallis worked in emerging markets litigation, specializing in marketing, telemarketing, internet, technology, and privacy law. Wallis’ niche was guiding corporate clients who found themselves on the receiving end of a government investigation or subpoena.

Wallis started her career in insurance coverage litigation, where she spent three years working with domestic and foreign insurance companies. She focused on environmental contamination and asbestos claims.

While at St. John’s University School of Law, Wallis served as the articles editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development. Wallis received the Best Note award for her article, “First Race, Then Gender, Now Disability: The Fight Towards Increased And Equal Employment Of Individuals With Disabilities,” which is published in the St. John’s Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development.

Additionally, Wallis was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in the following classes: Torts, Evidence, Criminal Procedure Adjudication, Perspectives on Justice, and the Child Advocacy Clinic.
