Advocating for those who are unable to advocate for themselves is at the core of Patricia’s practice. She is dedicated to protecting individuals and guiding families through complex and often challenging situations.
Patricia H. Patlewicz is an associate in the firm’s Elder Law and Trust & Estates Practice Groups, where she focuses on guardianships, estate litigation, and estate administration.
Patricia regularly serves within court-appointed roles including counsel, guardian ad litem, and temporary guardian for allegedly incapacitated individuals in guardianship matters. She has also been appointed as trustee or estate administrator in contested matters, reflecting the court’s confidence in her judgment and experience.
Patricia earned her experience concentrating on guardianships and estate litigation. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Darren T. DiBiasi, P.J.Ch., Chancery Division, Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County. During her clerkship, she gained extensive experience across a broad range of matters, including estate administration, guardianships, foreclosure, and general equity.
Fluent in Polish, Patricia leverages her bilingual skills to better serve a diverse client base. In addition to her practice, Patricia is committed to professional development and education, and most recently served as a panelist at the annual New Jersey Elder Law Retreat where she presented the 2026 Case Law Update.
