As a former prosecutor, Katherine brings rigorous analysis and sharp investigative skills to identify and expose inconsistencies in complex insurance claims. She is committed to uncovering the truth to ensure the system remains fair.
Katherine Pedlow is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud & Recovery Practice Group.
Katherine previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County. In the Domestic Violence Bureau, she managed a fast-paced caseload through various stages of litigation—from conducting grand jury presentations to arguing evidentiary hearings. She later moved to the Appeals Bureau, where she further sharpened her analytical skills and successfully argued before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department.
Katherine earned her J.D. from Albany Law School, where she led the Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law competition. Her background in handling sensitive criminal and family law matters gives her a practical, investigative edge when it comes to witness interviews, fact-finding, and building strategic fraud and recovery cases.
Outside of the office, Katherine enjoys traveling and staying active, but is happiest when she’s with her own dogs or working with the rescues at her local shelter.
