Katherine enjoys the problem-solving aspect of practicing law and likens it to completing a puzzle. She thinks a few steps ahead so that she can anticipate issues before they arise.
Katherine Gonzalez is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Fraud Group. She handles all aspects of complex commercial litigation in courts around the country, including New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
Katherine prosecutes complex civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, medical suppliers, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes.
Katherine also has experience representing clients in a wide range of state and federal civil rights and employment matters.
Katherine received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, her article, “The Hague Convention: Still the Best Hope for Children?” was published in the Cardozo International and Comparative Law Review. Katherine was also a Pro Bono Scholar, as well as a student intern at the school’s civil litigation clinic, representing clients in a range of civil cases.
