An insightful lawyer, Justin consistently reflects on the legal implications of what is going on around him and how the law impacts everyday life. He enjoys discussing hypotheticals with other attorneys and in his free time frequently researches all areas of law.
Justin Penchuk is an associate in the firm’s General Liability Practice Group.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Justin worked as an associate at a Long Island firm where he litigated medical malpractice, general liability, and catastrophic construction site accident cases.
Justin attended St. John’s University School of Law, where he participated in an externship at the Nassau County Legal Aid Society and became involved with the Public Interest Law Center. He also competed in mock trial competitions and was involved with the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute. During law school, Justin developed an interest in medical malpractice defense after completing a clerkship for a prominent metropolitan medical malpractice defense firm.
After graduating law school, Justin began his legal career as a general liability and medical malpractice defense attorney for a New York law firm, where he litigated cases from inception to trial and was responsible for document review, preparation of discovery responses, conducting depositions, legal research, and trial preparation.
In 2017, Justin graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree, where he majored in political science.
In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, traveling, and watching the Islanders, Mets, Jets, Nets, and Manchester United.
