Helping trusts and estates clients overcome what could be the worst moment of their life is what Harini finds most rewarding. Her unique background working for the government and for a federal judge brings forensic accounting skills and knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure to her work as a commercial litigation attorney.
Harini Maragh is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Commercial Litigation and Trusts & Estates Practice Groups.
Prior to joining the firm, Harini was an associate in an international law firm’s product liability and mass torts and litigation practice groups. From 2023 to 2024, Harini worked as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. James M. Wicks in the Eastern District of New York. There, she gained experience in a variety of practice areas, which largely consisted of employment, contract, and civil rights actions.
Harini graduated cum laude from John Jay College where she majored in fraud examination and financial forensics and minored in economics. She later went on to receive her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School where she was an executive editor of the New York Law School Law Review.
Throughout her time in law school, Harini worked during the day as an auditor for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Inspector General in efforts to improve the agency’s policies and procedures. In addition, she served as a research assistant and teaching assistant for several of her law professors.During the summers of her law school career, Harini interned for the Hon. Suzanne Adams in the Kings County Family Court and the Hon. LaShann DeArcy Hall in the Eastern District of New York.
In her free time, Harini enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones.
