Helping trusts and estates clients overcome what could be the worst moment of their life is what Harini finds most rewarding. Her unique background working for the government and for a federal judge brings forensic accounting skills and knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure to her work as a commercial litigation attorney.
Harini Maragh is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Commercial Litigation, Labor & Employment, and Trusts & Estates Practice Groups.
Harini has worked on a multitude of issues, including breach of contract cases; breach of employment agreements and wrongful termination cases; and accounting proceedings, probate contests, and discovery proceedings in Surrogate’s Court.
Prior to joining the firm, Harini was an associate in an international law firm’s product liability and mass torts and litigation practice groups. From 2023 to 2024, Harini worked as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. James M. Wicks, a federal magistrate judge in the Eastern District of New York. There, she gained experience in a variety of practice areas, which largely consisted of employment, contract, and civil rights actions. She also worked on cases in which plaintiffs sought relief under the New York Labor Law and Fair Labor Standards Act.
Harini graduated cum laude from John Jay College where she majored in fraud examination and financial forensics and minored in economics. She later went on to receive her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School where she was an executive editor of the New York Law School Law Review.
In her free time, Harini enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones.
