Christina M. BezasAssociate
As an Associate in the Compliance, Investigations & White Collar and Insurance Fraud Practice Groups, Christina Bezas prosecutes complex civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Christina served as an Assistant District Attorney for four and a half years in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division, Christina prosecuted and investigated a wide array of felony cases, including attempted murder, kidnapping, burglary, gun possession, robbery, and theft-related offenses. Christina developed strong litigation skills and gained invaluable courtroom experience serving as lead counsel in numerous felony trials.
While a law student at St. John’s University School of Law, Christina was a Senior Staff Member of the Journal of International and Comparative Law and the New York International Law Review, and competed in several mock trial competitions around the country.
Christina also teaches trial advocacy techniques to law students at St. John’s University School of Law and prepares them to compete in regional and national mock trial competitions.
Christina was named a 2020 New York Metro Rising Star. The Risings Stars list is comprised of the top 2.5 percent of lawyers under the age of 40.
