Caitlin Wandrusch is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Fraud & Recovery Practice Group. She focuses her practice on investigating and prosecuting complex civil lawsuits in state and federal court, including under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Through affirmative litigation, Caitlin helps insurers recover fraudulently obtained benefits from those involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes.

Caitlin has experience in insurance defense for general liability matters. She also served as an assistant district attorney at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled various aspects of prosecution for felony and misdemeanor cases. Throughout her experience, she frequently appeared in court proceedings for both criminal and civil matters.

Caitlin received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, she was a member of the Journal of Law and Policy and wrote her Note on the need for stricter oversight and regulations regarding puppy mills and the breeding of dogs. She is a member of the Committee on Animals and the Law within the New York State Bar Association.
