Avi Sinensky is a partner in Rivkin Radler’s Corporate Practice Group with a broad-based transactional practice. He has extensive experience advising business owners and investors on a wide variety of corporate transactions and corporate governance matters across a broad range of industries and throughout all stages of the business life cycle.
Avi regularly counsels clients in structuring and negotiating complex mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, including debt and equity financing transactions, private company investments, and real estate joint ventures.
He has substantial experience in negotiating shareholder, partnership and operating agreements; financing arrangements; services agreements; and other commercial contracts. Avi also advises individuals and businesses in connection with executive compensation arrangements, including employment and consulting agreements, severance agreements, business succession planning, and the design of stock-option and other equity compensation plans.
Avi writes and presents on a wide variety of business and corporate law topics. His work has been featured in programs and publications by the New York City Bar Association, Long Island Business News, USLAW Magazine and the New York Law Journal.
Avi is an avid fan of the New York Mets and New York Jets. He is the host of “Pretty Good Friends,” a podcast about “Friends” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” He resides in West Hempstead, NY, with his wife, Rachel, and daughters, Annie and Emily.
