Amy believes that understanding the nuances of the business involved is of utmost importance when leasing properties, whether they’re industrial, office or retail. No matter if it’s a mom-and-pop shop or office space in NYC, Amy works to make sure the negotiation reflects those nuances.
Amy Silver has over 25 years’ experience handling a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. She has represented landlords, tenants, sub-landlords, and subtenants in office, retail, restaurant, and industrial leasing deals. She has also represented clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial buildings and has represented leading U.S. and international financial institutions, funds, property owners, banks, and investors in real estate financing transactions.
Having spent over half of her career practicing in several major law firms in New York City, Amy has counseling clients on real estate matters including securitized, syndicated, mezzanine, and hard-money loans as well as purchases of ground leases, a full-building 1.1 million square foot lease, and office and retail leasing throughout the United States.
Amy currently represents numerous retail and office owners in the five boroughs and Nassau and Suffolk Counties in connection with their leasing needs including work letters, subleases, lease amendments, relocations, termination agreements, and guarantees. She also consistently represents tenants in office, retail, and industrial leasing. Her retail experience includes representing landlords on leases ranging from small mom-and-pop leases to big-box retailers.
Amy also represents buyers and sellers in connection with the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, including vacant land, office buildings, strip malls, and industrial buildings.
