Alicia understands that trusts and estates disputes often involve complex legal, financial, and family dynamics. She works closely with fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and their families to develop practical litigation strategies focused on achieving efficient and effective resolutions.
Alicia is counsel in Rivkin Radler’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group. With more than two decades of litigation experience, she focuses her practice on Surrogate’s Court litigation, fiduciary litigation, and guardianship matters.
Alicia has experience in trusts and estates litigation, guardianship proceedings, and fiduciary litigation, appearing regularly before Surrogate’s and Supreme Courts throughout New York, including matters involving complex guardianship, fiduciary, and estate litigation.
She represents executors, administrators, trustees, beneficiaries, and family members in a wide range of contested and uncontested proceedings, including probate contests, judicial accountings, fiduciary disputes, discovery proceedings, trust litigation, and estate administration matters. Alicia also has significant experience handling guardianship proceedings under Article 81 of the Mental Hygiene Law and Article 17-A of the Surrogate’s Court Procedure Act.
In addition, Alicia regularly handles wrongful death compromise proceedings, infant compromise proceedings, and matters involving the administration and distribution of estates. She represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, from the commencement of proceedings through hearings, settlement negotiations, and final resolution.
