Frank P. IzzoAssociate
Frank P. Izzo is an associate in Rivkin Radler LLP’s General Liability; Insurance Fraud; and Real Estate, Zoning & Land Use practice groups. He focuses his practice on condominium law, construction law, bankruptcy and insurance litigation involving fraud, coverage issues, breach of contract, subrogation and negligence. He also represents several homeowners association boards and advises them on governance issues.
Serving as special litigation counsel for towns and villages, Frank prosecutes vehicle and traffic violations as well as dangerous dog hearings pursuant to § 123 of the Agricultural and Markets Law. He has prosecuted zoning and building code violations on behalf of municipalities.
Frank is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Community Associations Institute.
Regarding his community involvement, Frank is an active participant in Empower Youth, a charitable organization designed to provide extracurricular activities to children of low-income families in the Hudson Valley and tri-state region. He is a teacher for Kidsafe Youth Programs, a community organization offering martial arts instruction to area youth, including economically disadvantaged children who quality for financial assistance through the organization’s scholarship program. Finally, he is a member of the Town of Poughkeepsie’s Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
