Frank P. Izzo is an associate in Rivkin Radler LLP’s Poughkeepsie office, where he maintains a general law practice with an emphasis in litigation, community association counseling, general corporate representation and creditor’s rights.

Frank leverages his diverse experience on behalf of clients involved in all types of litigation. He represents insurance companies in automobile, general liability and first-party property claims, as well as small businesses and construction companies in commercial disputes unique to their operations. He also serves as Special Prosecutor for the Town of Fishkill.

Frank is often called upon to represent healthcare providers in areas such as medication over objection and guardianship proceedings. Frank obtained one of the first court directives in Dutchess County authorizing the administration of vitamin K1 oxide and erythromycin eye ointment to newborns.

Frank truly enjoys working with his community association clients, which include homeowner association boards and managing agents. Frank is a former homeowner association board member and has an intimate understanding of the unique challenges HOAs face. This background makes him well-suited to advise them on all aspects of governance.

Frank is also a strong advocate for creditor’s rights and regularly appears in bankruptcy courts on behalf of his clients to ensure those rights are protected.

When he is not in the office, Frank maintains active participation in the community. He volunteers his time with Empower Youth, a charitable organization designed to provide extracurricular activities to low-income families in the Hudson Valley and the surrounding tri-state region. On Saturdays, you will find Frank teaching martial arts to children in Dutchess County as an instructor for Kidsafe Youth Programs. Frank is also an active member of the Town of Poughkeepsie’s Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
