Ullman Quoted on FTC’s “Made in the USA” Rule

Marc Ullman commented in the NutraIngredients-USA.com article, “FTC finalizes ‘Made in the USA’ rule.”

According to the article, the Federal Trade Commission has issued its final ‘Made in the USA’ rule about how companies can make this claim on their packaging and in advertising.

In regards to dietary supplements, “Made in the USA claims continue to be a priority at the Commission and companies need to make very clear that their statements in this realm are 100% accurate and true and not misleading,” said Ullman.

He also stated that manufacturers will need to make qualifying descriptions about inputs to the product if they want to affirm their domestic connections.
