Shea to Participate in Chancery Law Update for Bergen Bar
May 28, 2026Brian Shea will be part of the June 2 panel discussion, “2026 Chancery Law Update: Key Issues & Emerging Trends,” sponsored by the General Equity Committee of the Bergen County Bar Association.
Brian will speak on topics related to probate practice and guardianship in the Chancery Division. Panelists will include the two sitting Bergen County Chancellors, Hon. Darren T. DiBiasi and Hon. Nicholas Ostuni, Sr., and four experienced practitioners.
The Chancery Division is the Court of Equity, meaning that the relief being considered is not monetary. The Chancery Division has jurisdiction over complex business disputes and all probate and guardianship matters.
The panelists will address their individual practices and procedures, case management, and current issues important to Chancery practice in Bergen County.
The seminar, which runs from 4 to 6 pm at the Bergen County Courthouse, is approved for 2.0 New Jersey CLE credits.
