Shea Reappointed as BCBA Trustee
April 24, 2026The Bergen County Bar Association (BCBA) has reappointed Brian Shea as a Trustee of the Association, where he will serve a three-year term.
In his role as Trustee, Brian is responsible for helping manage the affairs and property of the Association and voting on matters impacting its governance. He will also serve as a liaison between the membership and the court, addressing concerns raised by members and communicating issues brought forward by the court.
Brian was initially appointed in 2024 to fill a vacancy created when Kevin P. Kelly was elevated to the Superior Court. During his prior term, Brian led the creation of New Jersey’s first Guardianship Mentor Program. He also co-developed a two-day CLE program, “Mastering Elder Law: Advanced Strategies for the Modern Practitioner.”
