Shari Claire Lewis to speak on Webinar presented by DRI’s Insurance Law and Professional Liability Committees

Shari Claire Lewis, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property, Product Liability and Toxic Tort and Professional Liability practice groups, will be a speaker at a webinar presented by DRI’s Insurance Law and Professional Liability Committees.  The webinar is entitled, “Data Breach Liability and Coverage Issues in the Practice Law,” and will be held on Monday, June 17.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • How to identify errors and omissions data breach risk inherent to the practice of law.
  • How courts have decided recent cases and about historical amelioration costs in related situations.
  • How to analyze potential coverage issues under traditional and “cyber” policies.
  • How legal and ethical standards that can mitigate risks or its effect continue to and have already evolved.

This program will benefit experienced errors and omissions claims and coverage professionals; in-house general and litigation counsel; outside defense and coverage counsel; and errors and omissions defense counsel, especially those defending lawyers, brokers, and insurance agents.
