Robertelli Obtains Dismissal of RICO/Legal Malpractice Claim
July 16, 2019John Robertelli obtained a dismissal of a Complaint filed in the United States District Court of New Jersey against an attorney client in a case involving nearly 50 law firm defendants.
The Hon. Brian R. Martinotti entered an order dismissing the Complaint in its entirety, which also included the dismissal of claims of RICO, unjust enrichment, tortious interference and malicious abuse of process. As reflected in the attached order/opinion, Plaintiff’s subsequent Motion for Reconsideration was also denied by Judge Martinotti, and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals recently dismissed Plaintiff’s appeal for failure to prosecute.
