Rivkin Radler Welcomes Claudia Hinrichsen and Gina Dolan

Evan H. Krinick, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, has announced that Claudia Hinrichsen and Gina Dolan have joined the firm as Counsel and Associate, respectively, in the firm’s Health Services Practice Group.

“The partnership is delighted to welcome Claudia Hinrichsen and Gina Dolan.  Their depth of knowledge and experience in the area of health services law will provide our clients with yet another great resource,” said Evan Krinick.

Claudia Hinrichsen, of Centereach, has more than two decades of experience in representing all forms of healthcare providers and suppliers, including hospitals, physician groups, physician/hospital organizations and independent practice associations (IPAs, PHOs, and ACOs), and diagnostic and treatment centers.

Ms. Hinrichsen addresses a broad array of matters related to such clients, including fraud and abuse, corporate compliance, transactional arrangements, patient-related legal issues, and HIPAA compliance.  Additionally, she devotes a great deal of time representing clients in all aspects of managed care, including IPA/ACO network formation, ACO compliance, and corporate governance; negotiation and dispute resolution with respect to managed care contract issues; payor audits; and in pursuing managed care companies for underpayments owed to health care providers.

Ms. Hinrichsen has authored numerous publications on various health law topics, including:  HIPAA, corporate compliance and health care fraud and abuse.  She frequently lectures on health care fraud and abuse, HIPAA compliance, and managed care issues before hospitals, medical groups, and state and regional professional associations.  She is General Counsel of CityMD.  Ms. Hinrichsen is an adjunct Professor at Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business, lecturing on business and health law topics.  She was named as one of the top health care attorneys in the United States for 2009 by Chambers Association. 

Ms. Hinrichsen earned her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.

Gina Dolan, of New York City, represents healthcare facilities, providers and organizations in a wide variety of healthcare legal matters, including regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, licensing, transactional arrangements and counseling the formation and development of medical practices and provider networks, including Independent Practice Associations (IPAs). She assists clients with Medicare, Medicaid and third-party reimbursement issues, payor audits and managed care contracting. She also has experience with implementing corporate compliance and HIPAA compliance programs, and training providers and healthcare vendors and business associates in compliance.

Ms. Dolan earned her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.
