January 27, 2022

Rivkin Radler is pleased to announce that on January 26, J’Naia L. Boyd received the New York State Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award for 2022. The annual award honors a young lawyer in practice for less than 10 years who has rendered outstanding service to both the community and legal profession.

J’Naia is an Associate in Rivkin Radler’s Appeals, Bankruptcy, Business Dissolution, Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. Active in the National Bar Association, she was elected to the 2021-2022 Executive Board of the Women Lawyers Division and is the Co-Chair of the We Empower Mentoring Program, the only mentoring program of its kind designed for women of color enrolled in the six Historical Black Colleges and Universities Law Schools. The National Bar Association is the nation’s oldest bar association of African American attorneys, jurists and law students.

J’Naia also sits on the Committee on the Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction of the New York State Bar Association and is a member of the Amistad Black Bar Association. A staunch proponent of pro bono service, J’Naia serves as pro bono counsel for indigent tenants facing eviction through Nassau/Suffolk Law Services.
