NCBA Installs Two Rivkin Radler Partners to Leadership Roles
June 3, 2026Barry Levy, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler, is pleased to announce that the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) installed firm partners Michael Antongiovanni and Matthew Spero to leadership positions during the organization’s annual installation ceremony on June 2, 2026. Michael was sworn in as secretary of the NCBA Executive Committee, while Matt was sworn in as Dean of the Nassau Academy of Law (NAL)—the association’s educational arm.
Michael has been an active member of NCBA for over 18 years. As secretary, he will be responsible for maintaining a record of the proceedings of all meetings of the association, board of directors, executive committee, and of all other matters for which a record is required. A partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Trusts & Estates, and Construction practice groups, he counsels a broad array of clients, ranging from individuals and professionals to startups, small businesses and international corporations.
Matt has been an active member of the NCBA for over 15 years. As dean of the NAL, he will preside over all NAL Advisory Board meetings, delegate responsibilities for and oversee NAL programs, and assist the NAL director with planning and executing CLE programs, among other activities. A partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Commercial Litigation, and Corporate practice groups, he represents debtors, creditors, lenders, landlords, and other stakeholders in business reorganizations, restructurings, acquisitions, liquidations, and out-of-court workouts throughout New York. He also advises a diverse range of businesses and organizations across numerous industries on complex bankruptcy and commercial matters.
