McIntyre Recognized for Diversity and Inclusion Efforts

On March 2, 2021, Tracey McIntyre, Rivkin Radler’s Director of Legal Talent, received a Diversity in Business award from Long Island Business News. The award highlights the outstanding achievements of business leaders of diverse ethnic backgrounds and those with disabilities, who are dedicated to growing the diversity of Long Island’s business community.

Tracey has been a driving force of the development of the firm’s Development, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the firm’s Women’s Initiative and the numerous mentoring programs at the firm. In addition to her leadership roles on each of these committees and initiatives, Tracey leads our hiring efforts for all attorneys and paralegals at the firm, focusing her efforts on recruiting and retaining diverse talent to the firm.

Tracey participates as a member of the LGBT Network’s Workplace Advisory Counsel, helping the LGBT Network with their workplace initiatives. One such initiative is the Virtual Career Coaching Program, where she helps with developing and presenting programs on topics such as Job Search and Interview Preparation, Resume, Cover Letters and Thank You letters. Tracey also was selected by her firm to participate with the Ivy Network’s “The Edge Program,” a women’s leadership workshop focused on women’s leadership and advancement in the workplace. In addition to her attendance at this workshop, Tracey has been a volunteer program coordinator with the Ivy Network’s Wise Women Wednesday Virtual Programs, which are programs designed to keep women leaders connected and engaged throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
