Korman Co-Chairs NYSBA’s “Meet the Judges of the Court of Appeals”
September 14, 2018 |Cheryl Korman will co-chair the New York State Bar Association’s panel discussion, “Meet the Judges of the Court of Appeals.” The program will take place on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Fordham Law School from 3:30 pm-6:30 pm.
The panel will include confirmed judges, Hon. Michael Garcia, Hon. Jenny Rivera and Hon. Rowan Wilson. Additional judges will be announced.
The program will provide an introspective look inside the Court’s secrets and is designed for attorneys who perform appellate work or would like to learn more about appellate practice. Topics include court statistics, brief writing, oral arguments, amicus filings, and when to dissent. A reception will follow where participants can network and “Meet the Judges.”
Participants are eligible to receive 2.0 MCLE credits in Skills.
