October 18, 2022

Rivkin Radler Partner Gene Y. Kang was selected as a recipient of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) Best Lawyers Under 40 Award. The award recognizes talented individuals within the Asian American Pacific Islanders legal community, under the age of 40, who have achieved prominence and distinction in their fields of endeavor and who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Asian American Pacific Islanders’ (AAPI) civic or community affairs.

Gene is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property, Insurance Coverage, and Insurance Fraud practice groups. He has extensive experience in civil litigation and corporate counseling, including trial and appellate work involving complex commercial matters, intellectual property, insurance law disputes, and labor and employment issues. He serves as President of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York and sits on the board of the Korean American Association of Greater New York.

“It is an honor to have been selected for this award,” Gene said. “I have been involved with the Asian American community in a leadership capacity for many years in an effort to advance AAPI issues, so this is especially gratifying for me.”

NAPABA is the nation’s largest Asian Pacific American membership organization representing the interest of 60,000 attorneys, judges, law professors and law students. The award will be presented on November 3 at NAPABA’s annual convention in Las Vegas.
