Heptig, Riverso Named To Crain’s Notable Women List

Rivkin Radler is proud to announce that Katherine A. Heptig and Pia E. Riverso have been selected for Crain’s New York Business’ 2020 Notable Women in Law list. The annual list celebrates attorneys who have made an impact on New York City. According to Crain’s, “it honors the achievements of the brightest and boldest legal minds; those with both distinguished careers and exceptional civic and philanthropic activities.”

Kate is a partner in Rivkin Radler’s Corporate, Health Services and Tax practice groups. She focuses on transactional tax law and executive compensation; general business law relating to corporations, LLCs and partnerships; and ERISA/employee benefits matters (a specialty in which she earned her LLM). Heptig obtained an LLM in Employee Benefits from John Marshall Law School, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.S. from Hofstra University.

Pia is a commercial litigator with more than 30 years of experience litigating complex civil matters including construction disputes of every nature, business dissolutions, shareholder disputes, restrictive covenant litigation, insurance and surety issues, intellectual property litigation and FINRA arbitrations. She received a J.D. from St. John’s University and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Manhattan College.
