Han Elected KALAGNY President

Rivkin Radler is pleased to announce that Lawrence Han has been elected president of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY). His two-year term begins July 1. KALAGNY is a professional membership organization of attorneys and law students engaged with the issues affecting New York’s Korean American community.

“It is an honor to be elected to lead this influential organization,” Lawrence said. “KALAGNY has been instrumental in my professional growth and personal development, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that KALAGNY continues to represent our members in the legal and professional community.”

He succeeds Rivkin Radler partner Gene Kang, who will finish his term as president on June 30.

Lawrence is a member of Rivkin Radler’s Class Actions, Complex Torts & Product Liability, and Professional Liability practices. He has successfully represented professionals against claims involving malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and mismanagement. He also has substantial experience in title insurance litigation, involving various challenges to real estate title arising from claims for adverse possession, boundary disputes, chain of title issues, quite title actions, easements, etc. In addition, He represents manufacturers and distributors in product liability and mass tort litigation in both domestic and international forums.

Lawrence is also a member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York and the International Association of Korean Lawyers.
