Gordon Elected Secretary of the DDI Board of Directors
December 11, 2025This month, Rivkin Radler partner Stuart Gordon was elected as secretary of the Board of Directors of the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI).
Founded in 1961 to address the special education needs of children with autism and other developmental disabilities and provide therapeutic intervention, DDI is a nonprofit, multi-site agency that serves hundreds of children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, as well as provides educational, residential, habilitative, vocational, transportation, and self-direction support to the Long Island community.
Stuart is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Corporate practice groups. He represents litigants in a full range of contested matters spanning all disciplines of bankruptcy/creditors’ rights law. In addition to representing DDI from 2001-2003 in a successful bankruptcy reorganization, Stuart was elected to the organization’s board, where he served until 2016. He was reappointed in 2024 and has continued to serve in that capacity.
