May 21 – As Easy as 1, 2,3 – A Back to Basics for the Non-Financial Legal Profession:
Numbers are scary – especially for the non-financial manager! However, during challenging economic times when there is financial uncertainty at every organization level it’s a topic administrators must understand. This session will review some fundamental accounting concepts and basic financial reports that will strengthen your knowledge in these areas to improve your firm’s financial position.
Objectives:
- Identify key finance terminology and basic accounting principles
- Read financial statements and determine how they tie to one another
- Review chart of accounts, cash versus profit and break-even analysis
- Explain financial forecasting

It is crucial to be informed and to monitor the financial pulse of your firm’s practice. This session will help you better understand your firm’s financial position, help you make more informed decisions and improve your firm’s profits.
